This 2-page feature article in the July/August 2011 issue of GEOInformatics magazine describes how consulting engineers Zimmermann & Meixner Z&M 3D Welt GmbH successfully deployed their Leica Geosystems laser scanning tools to quickly and accurately capture and document the building interior and exterior and adjacent terrain features of the Inselhalle Conference Center in Lindau, Germany.

The 3D model deliverable is easily sectioned for plan and elevation drawings at any horizontal or vertical position. TruView enabled project stakeholders to easily conduct virtual tours of the facility. |
